Congrats on your new puppy!

This is such an exciting time but it can also be scary, overwhelming and a tad exhausting. Puppies are ADORABLE but also full of energy, chewing machines, and require constant supervision. It's like having a baby then a toddler, all over again. My best advice for new puppy owners is learn!!! The more you learn, the more prepared you are and know what to expect and how to handle it. Here are a few of my favorite resources.

Dogs have been in my life, my entire life! To me, they are a member of the family and a furry best friend. I have raised many puppies over the years and have learned a lot from those who have done this longer. My best tips are learn, learn, learn. Remember they are babies (usually until about 2 years old). And find what works for your family. They are now part of your family so just like with parenting, you must try over and over and just keep giving them love. I highly recommend puppy classes and dog training.
