Karakachan
Karakachans are the livestock guardian dog breed, we use here on our farm. They are sold as livestock dogs only, as they are not suitable for inside pets. This breed originates from Bulgaria and are also know as Bulgarian Shepherds. We picked this breed after a lot of research into different breeds of livestock dogs. For us, they were a perfect fit as they aren't known to roam, bark when they have a problem vs all hours of the day, and are great with all different types of animals along with our kids.

We have four Karakachans on our farm and adore each of them for how hard they work and they wonderful personalities. We are expecting our first litter around June 9th from Freyja and Finn (both reds), Both parents have been genetically health tested and cleared.
